Seasons Exchange Academic College Scholarship:

    Our scholarship programs are ongoing initiatives supporting high school students on the cusp of entering their collegiate years. 

     The Seasons Exchange Academic Scholarship programs are available for any high school students in need of financial assistance entering college. With academic excellence remaining at the forefront of our organization's focus, we continue to ensure our scholarship programs are outlets for cultivating excellence.

Wanda Williams Legacy Scholarship:

The Wanda Williams Legacy Scholarship is awarded to college students in the field of engineering and to provide tuition assistance and the purchase of academic books.  This scholarship will be awarded each year in an amount not to exceed $1,000.00.​

About Wanda Williams

Wanda Marie Williams was born on February 6, 1961, in Houston, Texas, to Mildred and Willie Jones. A proud graduate of Waltrip High School, Wanda gave her life to the Lord at an early age and remained a devoted and faithful member of her church and community throughout her life. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Prairie View A&M University on May 16,1986. Wanda’s professional journey included roles at prestigious organizations such as Lockheed Martin, NASA, American Airlines, Southwest Airlines, and Verizon. She held top security clearances and led major projects throughout her career. Most recently, she served as an Engineering Test Lead at CAE in Arlington, Texas. Wanda was also a cherished member of Seasons Exchange, where she wholeheartedly supported the mission of empowering women, advocating for children, and strengthening generations. Her commitment to community service was exceptional. She valued the lives of others deeply and demonstrated that love through her unwavering dedication to education and service. Wanda found joy in caring for others, always extending kindness and grace. Her selflessness, deep faith, and gentle strength inspired all who crossed her path. Wanda’s legacy of compassion, generosity, and faith will continue to live on through the lives she touched. Her devotion to uplifting others will be carried forward through the Wanda Williams Legacy Scholarship—a lasting tribute to her belief in opportunity, empowerment, and the power of education to transform futures.

Application packet must attach the Scholarship Application Form (download above), be completed in full, submitted in a timely manner, and meet these requirements:

The Applicant must: 

  • Be a resident of the DFW Metroplex, as determined by the student’s permanent address.

  • Be enrolling in an accredited college or university.

  • Have a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Packet submission actions and requirements:
Applicant must write a minimum 250-word essay sharing his/her long-term education goals.
Applicant must provide letters of recommendation from at least TWO of the following:

  • An educational sponsor (i.e. teacher, counselor, or administrator


  • A community sponsor where the applicant has participated in community service

  • A parent, guardian or other person providing financial support as to why this award is important in meeting a financial need

Applicant packets must be submitted to Seasons Exchange by July 1st.

Joyce Ford Dardy Legacy Scholarship:

About Joyce Dardy

The Joyce Dardy Legacy Scholarship is awarded to assist students who demonstrate the ability of service to the community, caring for others and a strong sense of faith.  This scholarship will assist with tuition and the purchase of books.  Scholarship will be awarded each year in the amount not to exceed $1,000.00.

A Tribute to a Life of Faith, Service, and Generosity: The Seasons Exchange proudly honors the life and legacy of Joyce Ford Dardy, a woman whose compassion, faith, and unwavering commitment to others left an indelible mark on the Fort Worth community. Joyce lived a life rooted in service—quiet, consistent, and deeply heartfelt. Whether she was preparing meals for neighbors, supporting families through her church, or guiding young people through the R.D. Dardy/Fannie Russell Scholarship Foundation, Joyce believed in lifting others up and ensuring no one was left without care. Born in Quitman, Texas, Joyce embraced her Christian faith at an early age and carried it with her throughout her life. She served faithfully at Pilgrim Rest Missionary Baptist Church as a Deaconess, Sunday School Teacher, choir member, and community leader. Her generosity was not an occasional act—it was her way of life. Joyce gave her time, her resources, and her heart to anyone in need. The Joyce Ford Dardy Legacy Scholarship continues her tradition of empowering others. This scholarship supports students who demonstrate resilience, compassion, and a commitment to serving their communities—qualities Joyce embodied every day. Through this program, Seasons Exchange celebrates her legacy by investing in the next generation of leaders, caregivers, and change makers.
